The Laredo Philharmonic commemorates 46 years of service to the Laredo community with its Adopt a Musician campaign. This campaign is currently underway and will allow orchestral players to be “adopted” by patrons. Adopt a Muscician as many times as you want.
Our 46th Season, entitled “Music That Moves You,” comprises four performances, each showcasing some of the most extraordinary music ever written. We begin our season with Symphonic Blockbusters, featuring grand symphonic music, marking the start of our 46th year. Our second performance, “Sounds of the Season,” kicks off the holiday season with all of your yuletide favorites. The following concert, “The 7 Last Words of Christ,” features masterworks by Theodore Dubois. Our season finale, “Fiesta Sinfonica,” presents a cultural wonderland of festive music.
Here are the levels of adoption:
- Conductor- $2,000
- Concert Master- $1,000
- Chorus Master-$1,000
- Accompanist-$500
- Principal player -$500 (meaning the first chair violin, or first chair flute, for instance)
- Section member (i.e., a non-principal player)- $250
- Chorale singers-$250
Participants in our “Adopt a Musician” campaign receive many benefits, including season tickets, recognition on the Laredo Philharmonic programs and website, and tax benefits for the entire donation amount. Adopt a Muscician as many times as you want.
